REPORT- FARWELL BATCH OF 2018
An integral part of any grade 12 student’s life is the Farewell Ceremony. This year the Batch of 2018 were bid adieu with a glittering ceremony titled Masquerade. Conceptualised and organised by the students of Grade 11, the gala evening happened on the 22nd of December. Students of grade 11 performed two group dances and a song interspersed with some witty commentating by the Masters of Ceremony- ShriyaNayyar and Vighnesh Deshpande. However the star attraction for the evening were undoudtebly the students of grade 12 who looked resplendent in their formal attire. A few of them gave speeches, reminiscing the school years and thanking Suncity School for being their second home. Following tradition, the graduating students were given a parting gift along with an ‘Uttariya’ signifying the end of their journey. Post the brief jam session; the students were treated to a sumptuous dinner and a deliciously sinful cake. As the evening came to an end, the moist eyes, the joyful laughs and the warm hugs were captured forever in the hearts of those present.
