Haryana’s biggest sports event Haryana Swarnim Khel Mahakumbh was organized in the state in the month of September, 2017.

This event saw participants from all the villages and towns of the State competing in a few dozen events. The competitions were held at the District level  for a variety of sports, including a few traditional games.

The vision behind organizing this mega event to encourage sports was multidimensional - to see that the spirit of sportsmanship and leadership is inculcated within the youth, to revive the culture of sports, which is fading away in the era of internet, thereby leading to the honing of talents and also to preserve traditional sports, which are otherwise vanishing.

• The boy’s team participated in soccer U-14 and bagged the winner’s trophy. In the U-17 category our players Mudit Agarwal of grade XI & Krishna Mehndiratta of grade X were selected for the State level championship.
• Vidushi Jaidka of grade VII and Aryaman Tanwar of grade VI bagged a Gold medal in the Badminton championship at Khel Mahakumbh.
• Diya Hafiz of grade IX was selected for the State level Basketball Championship in the U-17 category at Khel Mahakumbh.
• Sia Prathambir of Grade IX bagged 2 Gold medals and Veera Prathambir of Grade IV bagged a Gold & a Bronze medal at Khel Mahakumbh.
